Report Detail:
I learned a lot about using AGC-T to get the most out of listening
to weak signals.

But while listening to a real weak station on a very low noised band, with
AGC-T set for example  to 45 and AF set to 60, the dynamic range is very big.

Every louder station who is breaking in, will kill the ears of the operator :-/

A example is a very weak DX station working split. Now a loud station
sends only a short 'dit' on the frequenzy - the headphone fly away...

I wish the possibility to set a maximum audio output level as a ear protection.

I'm full agree with DF2LH. If you listen to a weak dx-station with AGC-T 45 or so and a high AF-setting and then comes a "policemen" crying "up up up up up idiot" with 9+20db, you have to lose your ears and got Tinnitus.
